Travel

  • LDNIO power socket.^ Hands down the best power socket I've ever owned. I take it with me for cafe work sessions and on work or leisure trips. I usually have a bunch of things to charge (watch, power bank, phone, camera battery, etc.) and this socket lets me charge everything at once. I especially love the USB-B and USB-C ports because I don't need to bring multiple charger heads. It has a compact form factor that fits nicely in a backpack-- definitely less bulky than traditional multi-plugs, but sturdier and more reliable than typical travel adaptors 😬 but of course, it only offers 1 type of plug, but perfect if you're staying within regions that use the same socket type.
  • Duffle backpacks I rarely bring luggages for travel, even for work trips. I only bring checked-in baggages when I go back to my husband's hometown for more than a week, otherwise I prefer to travel with these duffles. Both of these you can bring in the cabin.
    • Bigger one (from Artch)^ Got this for longer trips (5–6 days without doing laundry). The backpack straps are located at the bottom, which is a bit weird since it means your back touches the dirty part of the bag. But it has more exterior pockets than the Exsport one.
    • Smaller one (from Exsport)^ Perfect for a weekend trip. Build quality is excellent. The backpack straps are placed on the top side, so your back touches the clean part of the bag. My favourite. I wish they made a bigger one.
  • Toiletries
    • Pouches for liquids. After trying vacuum bottles, upside-down bottles, and more, these are my go-to containers for thick liquids like soap, shampoo, and face wash. They're compact, see-through, leak-proof, and come in various sizes.
    • Small perfume bottles. These come in cute colours and are high quality. I transfer my perfumes into these small bottles so I can bring them everywhere and actually finish them! 😃 The store also sells syringes to help with the transfer, so don't forget to grab those too.
    • Microfiber towel. Sometimes, airbnbs don't offer towels so I always pack this. I like Decathlon's towels because they're compact and dry quickly (which means no odour), and feel softer compared to other microfiber towels I've bought. Compared to other microfiber towels I bought on Shopee, they're somehow dry quicker and softer to touch. The medium size is ideal for the gym, swimming, or travel.

Tech & Productivity

Physical

  • Logitech Lift Mouse.^ No more hurting wrist. Although it's a more affordable option compared to MX, it is still considerably pricey. But if you can't live without one, get something that keeps your wrist away from carpal tunnel syndrome (any ergonomic mouse, really).

Physical

  • Adjustable Pull-up Bar. Sturdy and can be used for so many calisthenics exercises: hangs, pull-up (obvs), rows, lunges... Easily set up since it doesn't require any nailing, so it is easily adjustable for your various workout needs. Aside for fitness, it also works to keep children amused. 😆

Digital

  • Down Dog. The longest app I paid for because it's so worth it for the price, especially if you get it with reduced price. I've been doing yoga on and off with this app for around 5 years, and I've gotten pretty good at least with the basic/foundational poses (verified after I started coming to physical group classes and found out I can follow along just fine). The practices are also highly customisable according to your skill level, time, and preferences. The cherry on top? For one single subscription, you get access to all Down Dog family app which includes Pilates, Barre, and HIIT.

Skincare

  • Buttered Almond Shower Oil. I used to have very dry skin, to the point that my knees' and elbows' skin was flaking out. I bought some products, but this is the one that I use every time I shower. My knees and elbows are no longer flaking out and so much smoother than before. 🥹
  • Teratu Acne Line, repurchased multiple times.
